Housing market activity in Gozo remains very slowHousing market activity in Gozo remains very slow with a drop seen in February as the island registered the second lowest figures for final deeds of sale, down on both last month and last year, at 136.

Data from the National Statistics Office released today  revealed that promise of sale agreements totalled 132, this was also the second lowest out of all the districts, down on January, but up on February last year.

The NSO noted that 136 final deeds of sale on residential property were registered in Gozo during February, this was down by 10 on January, and by 6 on February 2024.

In the cluster of localities made up of Fontana, Gharb, Ghasri, Kercem, Munxar, Victoria, San Lawrenz, Sannat and Zebbug, there were 71 final deeds of sale, this was up by 10 on January, and down by 8 on February 2024.

While in the cluster of localities of Ghajnsielem and Comino, Nadur, Qala, Xaghra and Xewkija there were 65, this was down by 20 on January and up by 2 on February 2024.

Promise of sale agreements in the Gozo and Comino District registered 132, down by 14 agreements on January, but up by 25 on February last year.

In the cluster of localities made up of Fontana, Gharb, Ghasri, Kercem, Munxar, Victoria, San Lawrenz, Sannat and Zebbug, the promise of sale agreements totalled 71, down by 12 from January, but up by 16 on the same month in 2024.

While in the cluster of localities of Ghajnsielem and Comino, Nadur, Qala, Xaghra and Xewkija, the figure was 61, down by 1 on January, but up by 9 on February last year.
