A 54-year old German woman has died after she was struck by a car in Ghajnsielem earlier this evening.
The car involved in the incident is understood to have been driven by a Maltese person.
The woman was rushed to Gozo Hospital, but died from her injuries shortly after arrival.
Police investigations are currently underway.
