Savina is introducing a new treat for Easter, featuring a milk chocolate shell with a crunchy almond-filled center.

The “figolla” is a traditional Maltese treat, typically crafted from a crunchy biscuit pastry filled with almond paste and beautifully decorated in vibrant colours, symbolising the joy of Easter Sunday.

The company said that it has crafted this beloved dessert to take on a new form as Savina’s “Figolla” Chocolate; “a luxurious blend of smooth milk chocolate and a crisp, crunchy almond center that perfectly complements the rich chocolate flavor. Each bar is hand decorated with colourful icing, reminiscent of the classic figolli we cherish.”

The public are invited to visit the Savina Artisan Centre in Xewkija to sample the latest Savina treat. For a limited time, the new ‘Figolla’ Chocolate is available at a special discounted price, the company said.
