Each year the EkoSkola committee at Gozo College Agius de Soldanis Middle School participates in the Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE).
The YRE is an international programme that gives students a voice to investigate environmental issues through photos, articles, and videos.
The EkoSkola committee said that through these photographs their aim is to share important messages about sustainability.

Foraging, using pesticide-free nettle. The tiny snail is living proof. The nettle was used to make nettle cakes, promoting the use of local, seasonal ingredients, especially wild plants.
Peel back the Plastic
Some fruits like bananas come with natural packaging, yet supermarkets wrap them in plastic. This unnecessary waste harms the environment and adds to the plastic pollution crisis. Why cover nature’s perfect wrapper?
The Silent Struggles of Wildlife
