A reminder that this coming Saturday, San Lawrenz will host the second edition of – Sqaqien – an event that will showcase the unique beauty of the picturesque village in Gozo.

Taking place on Saturday, the 5th of April, between 8am and 11pm, the evening will offer a unique artistic and cultural experience, where all those who visit the village of San Lawrenz will be able to enjoy a lovely walk through 14 rural alleys, each with a distinct artistic element. There will also be a dedicated alley for children.

The Mayor of San Lawrenz Noel Formosa explained that “Sqaqien” is an event that will create a number of cultural spectacles in one evening, and all showcased in the beautiful environment of the alleys that San Lawrenz is endowed with.

He said that this activity was possible thanks to the cooperation between the San Lawrenz Local Council, the Local Government Directorate and the Culture Directorate within the Ministry for Gozo and Planning.
