Gozo´s housing market still slow with further drop in number of final deeds of saleThe housing market activity in Gozo continues to slow down with another drop seen in March, as the island once again registered the second lowest figures for final deeds of sale, down on both last month and last year, at 115.

The National Statistics Office data released today revealed that promise of sale agreements totalled 123, this was also the second lowest out of all the districts, down on February, but up on March last year.

The NSO noted that 115 final deeds of sale on residential property were registered in Gozo during March, this was down by 29 on February, and by 3 on March 2024.

In the cluster of localities made up of Fontana, Gharb, Ghasri, Kercem, Munxar, Victoria, San Lawrenz, Sannat and Zebbug, there were 54 final deeds of sale, this was down by 22 on February, and by 15 on March 2024.

While in the cluster of localities of Ghajnsielem and Comino, Nadur, Qala, Xaghra and Xewkija there were 61, this was down by 7 on February and up by 12 on March 2024.

Promise of sale agreements in the Gozo and Comino District registered 123, down by 9 agreements on February, but up by 15 on March last year.

In the cluster of localities made up of Fontana, Gharb, Ghasri, Kercem, Munxar, Victoria, San Lawrenz, Sannat and Zebbug, the promise of sale agreements totalled 65, down by 6 from February, but up by 14 on the same month in 2024.

While in the cluster of localities of Ghajnsielem and Comino, Nadur, Qala, Xaghra and Xewkija, the figure was 58, down by 3 on February, but up by 1 on March last year.
