On Friday afternoon, the Malta Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) coordinated a medical evacuation of an individual at the Blue Lagoon, Comino who required urgent medical assistance.
The Armed Forces of Malta said that a Maritime asset was dispatched to the area to conduct this medical evacuation.
The casualty was taken to Mgarr Harbour and handed over to the waiting Gozo General Hospital team for further attention.
The AFM thanked the Gozo General Hospital for their assistance and collaboration during this operation.
