Innovative Youth call for participants in 9-day Poland project

Gozo based voluntary organisation Innovative Youth is putting a call out for participants to be part of a nine-day project in Poland to increase leadership competencies and build leadership.
The NGO said that “today’s leaders must be drivers of inclusion and solidarity to create a real impact on society and encourage other young people to become leaders as well.”
Innovative Youth is calling four participants from Gozo and Malta to participate in this project in Poland (Krakow and Lodz) between the 17th and 27th of July, to join other young people from Turkey, Serbia, Greece, Italy, the Czech Republic, Poland, and the Republic of North Macedonia.
Those interested in participating should be aged 18+ (Youth workers, coordinators of projects, mentors, or people who work with youth).
Innovative Youth explained that the main areas/issues of the training are non-violent communication (NVC), use of tools (self), getting to know and self-diagnosing emotions, according to the 8 families of emotions, using tools of metaphors visual metaphors in working with the group, tools for building leadership together with the group (multi-vote, consensus), question thinking; modern and inclusive educational tools online and stationary.
The workshops will be conducted by a variety of trainers and experts, so participants will not only be able to gain quality knowledge from experienced practitioners but, most importantly, a lot of inspiration through this diversity.
The NGO said that the result of this meeting will be the development of a manual on RL for youth workers, including a card or board game, education through storytelling, workshop scenarios, and an animation film related to the topic of RL.
The project is funded by Erasmus+ and covers flights and accommodation for the participants, said Innovative Youth.
