Next Sunday in Gozo, the Don Bosco Oratory in Victoria will be hosting the screening of the International Premiere of the feature documentary – The Weight of Memory: I Am Bernie Furshpan – followed by a brief talk-back with Dr. Bernie Furshpan.

Dr Furshpan said that he travels all over educating younger generations. The audience on Sunday will have the opportunity to gain insight through a powerful blend of historical fact and personal testimony, as Bernie shares his family’s story to inspire action against hatred and its devastating consequences. “With a sense of urgency that he delivers his mission to empower a new generation to stand against intolerance.”

Dr. Bernie Furshpan, son of Holocaust survivor Moshe Furshpan, is the vice chairman of the Holocaust Museum in New York. He commented that, “it’s been my mission to educate young people about being kind and tolerant with each other, and anyone from age 13 and older would find this film very moving and impactful.”
