Two groups of young students from the Gozo Visual and Performing Arts School visited Il-Hagar Museum in Gozo last week to view the current Norbert Attard retrospective exhibition – TRANSITIONS.
The students, who visited over two days, were welcomed by Fondazzjoni Belt Victoria Chairman Antoine Vassallo, who gave them a short introduction to the museum and cultural centre, before they proceeded on a tour of the temporary exhibition led by their Art teacher, Ms Sonia S. Scerri.
As part of the session, each student selected an artwork from the exhibition that inspired them, using it as the basis for their own creative interpretation.
The Museum said that “it is always a pleasure for us to host students of all ages with the aim to foster interest in various aspects of art and culture.”
