The Environmental Health Directorate now has a Bathing Water Portal for updates on bathing water quality around the Maltese Islands.

There are 87 bays monitored on Malta and Gozo and the bathing water quality updates also include those that are listed as pet-friendly.

The Directorate said that inspections are carried out weekly during the official bathing season – from the third week in May and ends in the third week of October.
