Gozo Bishop welcomes Orthodox Bishop and delegation to Gozo

Bishop of Gozo Anton Teuma, together with Mons. Noel Saliba, the Diocesan Delegate for Ethnic Groups in Gozo, welcomed to the Gozo Seminary His Holiness Orthodox Bishop Andrej, Fr Risto Gorancic, the Chaplain of the Serbian Orthodox in Malta, and a delegation of professors and students from the Orthodox Theological and Educational Institute of Munich, Germany.
This group included students from Russia, Ukraine, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Romania and Serbia who attend this Institute.
During the meeting, a discussion was held on the strengthening of relations between the Catholic and Orthodox Churches, on theological aspects of the two Christian Churches, and finally information was provided on key historical sites in Gozo.
The Bishop of Gozo offered two books about the Gozo Cathedral and another about Gozo to Bishop Andrej as a memento of this visit.
The Diocese of Gozo said that this Group, who were on their first visit to Malta and Gozo, spent a week on the islands, and among others visited Gozo for a day.
