A 55-year old man has sustained grievous injuries after falling one storey into the garden of his residence in Kercem, Gozo.
Police said that they were called to the scene at around 3pm on Friday afternoon in Triq it-Torri. Preliminary investigations revealed that the man had lost his balance and fallen.
A medical team provided first assistance at the scene before the man was taken to the Gozo General Hospital, where he was later certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.
Magistrate Simone Grech has been informed of the case and appointed an inquiry.
Police investigations are ongoing.
