TAKEOFF, the University of Malta’s business incubator, today announced one of its start-ups, Childhud, has launched its first app on the Google Play store.

The app is targeted at families who wish to capture precious moments of their children and share them with their family.

“Childhud lets you capture video, audio, photos, stories and more, and enables you to tag these moments with special milestones such as first steps and first words spoken.” said Luke Agius, co-founder of Childhud.

The idea behind Childhud was thoroughly researched and the app created over a number of months with guidance from the team at TAKEOFF.

The app allows users to “Capture precious moments. Securely. Forever,” and tag these moments with childhood milestones such as first steps, first words, etc. Family and friends may also privately share in the joy, and comment and contribute to the little ones’ stories and memories.

“Childhud has a number of additional innovative features planned for the future and will continue to work with TAKEOFF to see these to fruition,” Agius added.

The TAKEOFF business incubator at the University of Malta, helps technology and knowledge-based startups transform their ideas into investor-ready and market-ready businesses.

The team of industry veterans nurtures entrepreneurs through executing market research and protecting their idea, helps with business plan development and pitching to investors as well as packaging the idea to target prospective users and customers, locally and internationally.
