Zebbug Local Council has inaugurated a new mural and sculpture, as well as a new swing and the beautification of the area in Triq Santa Marija, Marsalforn, in celebration of a community and its identity – Coastline Collective: Gozo Region of Culture 2025.
The mural, created by children under the direction of artist Mario Cassar and the sculpture from a design also by Mario Cassar, transformed this public space into a vibrant reflection of the spirit of Marsalforn and Zebbug of which it is one of the jewels, the Council said.
The beautification work included new paving and lighting to enhance this project.
This investment was carried out through funds from Region of Culture – 2025.

Congratulations to the Zebbug Council. After I read your report I googled further to learn more, like ‘the meaning behind the Mural’ the cost of the project, and additional information which usually is reported. I found no more info elsewhere.
