In line with its commitment to promote educational development in Malta, Bank of Valletta has recently donated a series of educational books to a number of schools and local councils in Malta and Gozo.

The beneficiaries of these latest efforts by Bank of Valletta include the Qormi San Bastjan Primary School, the Mariam Al Batool Centre in Fgura, the Sir MA Refalo School in Victoria Gozo, MCAST in Paola and the Fgura Local Council.

Education features strongly in Bank of Valletta’s Community Programme, which each year sees a percentage of profits being given back to the community through the support of various initiatives that directly benefit the community. The book donations form part of the Bank’s ongoing commitment to provide tangible support towards local communities. Bank of Valletta’s support to enhance the book collections at these libraries is testament to this commitment. The books donated will help to encourage readers to make more use of the services offered by schools and local councils, opening up more learning opportunities both at school level and on a wider scale for society at large.
