Last week, the Gozo Regional Committee met with the Prime Minister and a number of Ministers at the Gozo Innovation Hub to present its proposals for Budget 2026.
Gozo Business Chamber President Michael Galea, as Chair of the Committee, opened the session highlighting the importance of “uniting Gozo’s voice.”
Vice President Edward Scerri raised key issues on accessibility to Mgarr Harbour, the effective use of the Innovation Hub to create jobs for youth, the need for Bachelor-level courses at MCAST Gozo, and measures to support the integration of immigrants.
The Committee said that “these interventions reflect our ongoing commitment to ensure that Gozo’s priorities are clearly represented at national level.”
