Zminijietna – Voice of the Left, calls on the Minister responsible for Public Transport to invest more to increase its fleet in areas where the demand is high.

“The Minister should make use of artificial intelligence to collect the required data to perform such changes. Inspectors should also be on the ground to conduct certain controls with regards to overcrowding,” said Zminijietna.

It added that, as things stand, many are facing difficulties to board public transport safely during peak hours. “The vulnerable people are the ones, facing the burden from overcrowding”.

Zminijietna – Voice of the Left concluded by saying that, “announcements on buses using natural sounding voices should give guidance to commuters on how to make use of public transport the right and safe way.”
