On Saturday, the Zebbug Local Council said that it proudly signed a twinning agreement with the Municipality of Anela in Sardinia.
This agreement was signed during a welcoming ceremony at the Anela Town Hal by the Mayor of Zebbug Baskal Saliba and Anela Mayor, Giangiuseppe Nurra.
The Zebbug Local Council said that this agreement marks the beginning of a strong friendship between the two communities, promoting cultural exchange, collaboration, and shared projects that will benefit all residents.
Zebbug Mayor Baskal Saliba said, “we look forward to building bridges through traditions, education, tourism, and community initiatives – strengthening the bond between Malta and Sardinia.”
