Borg announces new Shadow Cabinet with Chris Said back as Shadow Minister for Gozo

Today, Leader of the Opposition Alex Borg, announced the official appointment of his Shadow Cabinet.
Gozitan MP Chris Said is back in the role of Shadow Minister for Gozo, Alex Borg’s old portfolio.
The Nationalist Party said that this Shadow Cabinet, composed of committed Members of Parliament, is designed to present itself as an alternative government ready to lead our country towards a better future.
“This is not just about assigning responsibilities to our MPs. It is clear proof that the Nationalist Party is ready to provide serious, responsible, and visionary leadership, giving the Maltese and Gozitan people the best choice,” said Alex Borg during the presentation.

Through these appointments, Borg said that the Nationalist Party is sending a clear message: “it is ready to provide a new direction for the country, placing citizens’ priorities at the forefront – a strong economy, a fairer society, a sustainable environment, and serious, transparent institutions.”
“This alternative Cabinet proves that Partit Nazzjonalista is not only criticising but also presenting concrete solutions to the major challenges the country is facing. We are ready to be the natural choice to lead the Maltese and Gozitan people towards a better future,” Alex Borg concluded.
