The Malta Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) said that this afternoon it received a report of a diver that was in difficulty at Reqqa Point in Gozo.

The AFM said “despite the adverse weather that hit the islands, an AFM rescue unit was dispatched on site and the diver was safely rescued.”

The AFM urged the general public to “act responsibly and exercise caution, especially when adverse weather conditions are forecast.”
