A (H1N1) vaccination extended for another two weeksThe Parliamentary Secretariat for the Elderly and Community Care, has advised that the A (H1N1) vaccination is being extended for another two weeks. This is being done to ensure that anyone who has not yet taken the vaccine will be able to do so.

After the evaluation of scientific evidence and in consultation with other European countries, it was decided by the Health Committee that neither children or the the elderly will need more than one vaccine .

Anyone who wishes, can take the vaccine from Monday to Saturday, except Sundays at Health Centers from 2pm – 8pm or from the Gozo General Hospital from 8am – 1pm.

It is important that everyone takes their Identity Card with them.
