Gozo’s Christmas festivities have been launched for this year by Minster for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri with the Christmas in Gozo programme involving 165 activities for the whole family which will start on the 29th of November and will continue until the 6th of January 2026.

Coordinated by the Directorate for Cultural Heritage within the Ministry, the Christmas in Gozo” programme will kick off on Saturday, the 29th of November with the “Christmas it’s Time” concert at the Aurora Opera House, Victoria.

The varied programme of events for this year includes popular activities including the Christmas Parade in Republic Street, Victoria; Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem, Children’s World at Villa Rundle where there will also be a Christmas Market and Illuminated Gardens, Victoria; The Rock n’ Roll Panto Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood, Teatru Astra; Christmas Magic – G?ar Ilma, Santa Lucija; Santa’s Workshop Ta’ Dbiegi Crafts Village, Gharb, Carols by Candlelight, concerts and various traditional Gozitan nativity scenes.

The culmination of the Christmas programme will be reached on New Year’s Eve with a concert from 9pm until 2am at Independence Square, Victoria, with the participation of several local singers and international guests Eiffel 65.

Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri thanked all the volunteers and participants who make these activities possible and encouraged everyone to choose Gozo once again this Christmas.
