As part of its 30th Anniversary celebrations, the Santa Marija Philharmonic Society, in collaboration with the Parish of the Assumption of Mary, will present the Musical Oratorio “Marija” – an innovative production blending faith, music, and art.

Written by Mons. Noel Saliba, with the music composed and directed by Mro. Franco Cefai, the Oratorio will feature the participation of the Santa Marija Band together with an Orchestral Ensemble, soloists Raquela Dalli Gonzi (Mary), Noel Galea (Narrator), Michelangelo Muscat (Joseph), Joseph Lia (God / Father / Jesus), and Ilyas Ige Sultana (Angel / Holy Spirit), as well as the choirs Santa Marija and Regina Angelorum under the direction of Marija Cefai.

The musical is taking place this Saturday, the 6th of December, at the Parish Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Zebbug, Gozo, starting at 7.30pm.
