Adoration of the Magi: Adoration of the Magi: 2-day event in Malta and Bethlehem f'GhajnsielemThis year’s 16th edition of Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem will come to an end on Sunday, the ‘Adoration of the Magi’ will once again conclude the nativity village event.

The ‘Adoration of the Magi’will take place over the 3rd and 4th of January and the Magi will be visiting a number of towns and villages across Malta and Gozo during the weekend when Epiphany is celebrated.

The Journey of the Magi will also include a new initiative. In addition to delivering a message of hope, joy, and peace to every locality visited, all children will be invited to write a message focusing on courage, solidarity, peace, reflections on war, or any other theme that they deem important.

These messages can be handed directly to the Magi or taken to Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem. Afterwards, they will be sent to Pope Leo XIV.

Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem will be open and animated in January:

Thursday 1st, 3.00pm – 7.00pm

Friday 2nd, 3.00pm – 7.00pm

Sunday 4th 2.30pm – 7.00pm (Adoration of the Magi).

Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem is organised by the Ghajnsielem Local Council in collaboration with the Ghaqda Drammatika Ghajnsielem and with the support of the Ministry for Gozo and Planning, the Parliamentary Secretariat for Local Government, and VisitMalta.

Saturday 3rd January

8.45am – Mosta (Constitution Str & Main Sqr)

11.00am – Birgu main square

1.00pm – Mater Dei Hospital

2.00pm – Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre

5.30pm – Hamrun

Sunday 4th January

9.00am – Departure from Mgarr square (Malta)

10.15am – Mellieha Home for Elderly

11.30am – Re-enactment in ‘Misrah il-Parrocca’ Square, Mellieha

12.00pm – Departure on horseback to Cirkewwa

2.15pm – Ferry departure to Gozo

3.00pm – Departure on horseback from Mgarr harbour

3.15pm – Visit to Dar San Guzepp – home for elderly, and the Arka Foundation

3.45pm – Triumphal entrance in Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem.
