Ghaqda tal-Armar Madonna tas-Sokkors Kercem has announced that its application for the Voluntary Organisations Project Scheme 2026 has been ranked first and has been approved.

This result will allow the organisation – which was founded in 1991 and organises the external decorations for the Titular Feasts in Kercem – to acquire its first truck along with the manufacture of several trailers, to strengthen the work of volunteers and improve logistical operations related to the assembly of the feast.

The organisation expressed its sincere thanks to “all those who worked on this application, as well as all the volunteers who, with dedication and continuous work make all this possible.”

Ghaqda tal-Armar Madonna tas-Sokkors Kercem concluded by saying that “together we continue to work for the good of our community.”
