Housing market activity in Gozo showed some improvement in December while the island once again registered the second lowest figures for final deeds of sale from the regions at 141, this figure was up on the previous month, but down on 2025.

National Statistics Office data released today revealed that 141 final deeds of sale on residential property were registered in Gozo during December. This figure was up by 2 on November, but down by 7 on December 2025. The highest number were in Xaghra which registered 27.

Promise of sale agreements in Gozo was also the second lowest of the regions, registering 149, this was up by 4 agreements on December and by 57 on December 2024. The highest number were in Zebbug, which also includes Marsalforn, and registered 19.
