To mark the occasion of the 100th Anniversary from Maltese preeminent composer Paolino Vassallo’s death, the Fondazzjoni Fortunato u Enrico Mizzi in collaboration with the Classique Foundation will present a commemorative event.

The tribute evening will feature two talks, delivered by Albert Storace and Mro. Christopher Muscat on the vibrant life and music of Vassallo.

There will be music interventions by Graziella Debattista (mezzo soprano) and Milica Lawrence (piano) from Vassallo’s musical output, and an exhibition on the composer.

Music Consultant for the event is Joseph Debrincat and Artistic Director is Richard Muscat.

The commemorative tribute evening is on Friday, the 20th of October, starting at 7.30pm, at the Sentinella, the Citadel, Victoria.
