The Police arrested 35 individuals during an operation related to irregular immigration carried out in Marsa.
They were arrested following spontaneous patrols carried out in different places known for loitering for illegal work purposes, as well as inspections on public transport.
These individuals were found without valid residence permits and in circumstances indicating that they were working illegally in Malta.
The Police said that the operation was carried out with the assistance of the Detention Services Agency and forms part of ongoing enforcement efforts conducted throughout 2025, which are expected to continue in the coming days.
