The JP2 Memorial Festival 2026 for April, organised by the JP2 Foundation will host the University of Malta, G.F. Abela Junior College Youth Orchestra in a recital under the music direction of Mro. Emanuel Pirotta.

The programme will consist of a repertoire by the young students that make part of the Department of Music within the Junior College.

This will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Ghajnsielem, Gozo, on Saturday, the 25th, of April, starting at 8.00pm, immediately after the Church service ends.

This monthly activity is part of the 20th anniversary commemoration from the inauguration of the National Monument dedicated to the Pope Saint John Paul II, located at the start of Triq Papa Gwanni Pawlu II, Victoria, leading to the National Sanctuary of Our Lady of Ta’ Pinu.

This event is being organised by the JP2 Foundation in full collaboration with the Gozitan Community of the Franciscan Miner Fathers, the Ghajnsielem Local Council and the G.F. Abela Junior College.

The public is invited to attend.
