Following the launch of the bicycle racks initiative last month, we are now beginning to see its impact take shape, said the Gozo Regional Development Authority.

Prime Minister announced the initiative between the Government and the NGO ‘Rota,’ which will see 150 bicycle racks being installed in Gozo, ”with the aim of promoting alternative means of transport, as well as the importance of sport.”

The GRDA said that the Metal Works Department within the Ministry for Gozo and Planning has started installing the first of many bike racks across the islands, ”promoting sustainable mobility and encouraging more people to opt for cleaner and healthier modes of transport.”
