The Malta Ranger Unit are today celebrating their third year of operation across Malta and Gozo.
The MRU said that it has been an amazing journey, with over 6,000 cases reported to the Rangers.”We have gone from a single digit amount of cases per week, to hundreds.”
The Rangers remarked that ”we have spoken to thousands of people and empowered them to care for nature in the best possible way.”
They said that they have gone from thinking “Can we really make this happen…?” To instead saying “What more can we add to our operations?”
”We wish to thank every single one that has supported us during these three years of Operation. Without your support, there wouldn’t be any Rangers in Malta,” the Unit sad.
The MRU also expressed their thanks all the Enforcers within all the Departments, who work to make the environment a better place.
The Malta Ranger Unit concluded by saying that it will ”continue to be a 100% independent NGO, solely relying on donations from the general Public (including corporate) to carry out our daily operations.”
