Malta Ranger Unit launch fundraiser asking for public supportThe Malta Ranger Unit is calling on the public for support, saying that ”unfortunately, the biggest investor of the MRU moved away from Malta and to continue our work at the level we’re at, we need your support now more than ever.”

The MRU launched a fundraiser for the NGO on Tuesday, with the aim to raise funds to enable it ”to continue operations efficiently.”

”We have from the start in 2023 pledged to be a 100% independent NGO. No politics, no red tape,” the MRU said.

It added that ”our integrity and independence has enabled us to work with high efficiency. But not having Government backing also comes at a cost. We rely solely on the donations from the public, our patrons, the ones believing in our work and mission – We are a Unit for the people, by the people.”

The Malta Ranger Unit said that ”if you like what our NGO has achieved in the last 3 years, we urge you to donate today.”

It added that ”any amount can be donated. All will be reinvested in environmental protection. However if you donate €25 or above we will offer you the benefits that comes with the membership.”

The Malta Ranger Unit concluded by saying that ”our Rangers wish nothing more than continuing to protect nature. Invest in nature, please donate today.” Donations can be made by clicking here.
