Fr Rob Galea in concert this Sunday at Qala SquareThis coming Sunday, Qala Square will be hosting a unique concert by Fr Rob Galea, a Maltese priest, singer-songwriter and author who is internationally renowned for his music and the message of hope he shares.

Born in Malta and now based in Australia, Fr Rob has a story that inspires many young people. As a young man, he went through a difficult period marked by rebellion, drugs, theft, depression and anxiety. It was a time when he felt lost and without direction. However, his encounter with God changed his life completely.

Today, through his vocation and his music, he shares a message of faith, hope and love with millions of people around the world, particularly young people.

Throughout his career, Fr Rob has released ten albums, won several international awards and written a number of books. He has also performed on X Factor Australia, produced official songs for World Youth Day and performed before audiences of hundreds of thousands of people.

For this occasion, Fr Rob will travel specifically from Australia to Gozo to share his message through this concert.

The date of the concert is Sunday, the 26th of July, with the concert starting at 8pm with a performance by Gozitan singer Jolene Samhan, before Fr Rob Galea takes to the stage for his live concert together with his band.

Admission to the concert is completely free, and the general public is warmly invited to attend.

The concert is being organised by Radju Le?en il-Qala as part of the celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of the radio station – the first community radio station in Gozo to obtain a permanent broadcasting licence.

The organisers extended a special invitation to young people, families and anyone who wishes to hear a story of hope and conversion, to attend this unique evening at Qala Square.
