A vocal masterclass led by internationally renowned Maltese soprano Miriam Gauci as part of the GAULearn educational programme (coordinated by Paul Rapa), concluded with an enjoyable public concert, during which the performers were accompanied by Francis Camilleri, the masterclass’s repetiteur in residence.

Rounding up the 19th edition of Gaulitana: A Festival of Music, artistically directed by Colin Attard, the masterclass was held at the Gozo Visual & Performing Arts School in Xewkija, courtesy of the school’s head, Mr Vince Caruana.

A mixture of seasoned performers and up-and-coming singers thoroughly enjoyed the four intensive days of tutoring.

Inimitably, Ms Gauci passed technical as well as very practical tips to all the participants, whilst also sharing several of her personal experiences.
