Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri has announced that, ”within the first 100 days of the new legislature, a measure was implemented to provide Gozitan senior citizens with more opportunities to remain active and utilise the facilities at the Sports and Aquatic Pavilion.”
He said, “in our electoral manifesto, we pledged that Gozitan seniors would have more opportunities to participate in physical activity initiatives and sports programmes tailored specifically for them.”
He added that, ”consequently, we are further strengthening such initiatives at the Sports and Aquatic Pavilion to ensure that seniors also benefit from this significant sports investment in Gozo. Through these opportunities, Gozitan seniors can stay active, lead a healthier lifestyle, and continue to play an active role in our society.”
Interested elderly people can apply using their eID via servizz.gov, in person at the servizz.gov Hub in St Francis Square, Victoria, Gozo, through the MyGozo App, or via the website gozo.gov.mt.
For further information, one may call 2215 6620 or send an email to elderly.mfg@gov.mt.
