The Victoria Local Council recently had the opportunity to meet officially with the Leader of the Nationalist Party, Alex Borg, the Deputy Leader of the Party, Alex Perici Calascione, together with MPs Frank Tabone, Beppe Galea, Norma Camilleri and Justin Schembri.

Mayor of Victoria Brian Azzopardi said that during this meeting, they discussed at length the role and work of the Victoria Local Council, the difficulties and challenges it encounters on a daily basis, as well as the work related to the prestigious title of European Capital of Culture 2031.

The Mayor said that ”meetings such as these are important in order to further strengthen dialogue and work together for the benefit of the community of Victoria and Gozo.”
