Twenty-five athletes participated in the second edition of the Racket Tournament held at the Sports Complex in Victoria, Gozo.

This tournament included three sports competitions played with a racket of tennis, badminton and squash. The winners in this year’s tournament are Raymond Camilleri, who won the tennis competition, Federico Cini who won the badminton and Marlene Saliba and Mark Sacco who won the women’s and the men’s squash.Over the past year, the Sports Complex in Gozo, held other tournaments including the martial arts discipline Tiquando, a football tournament and one of badminton. It also organised an international seminar on Kendo with the participation of around 100 athletes most of whom were foreign.Currently in the Sports Complex Gozo, every Saturday there are sessions of SkolaSport. There are also weekly sessions with adults participating in classes of pilates, aerobics and fitness in collaboration with the Health Promotion Unit within the General Hospital in Gozo.
