Soprano, Marouska Attard, will hold a concert at St. Augustine’s Convent, in Victoria, tomorrow, Friday, the 3rd of June, as part of the activities held for Notte Gozitana
Marouska Attard started studying music at a young age. The first instrument she studied was the violin but during her teens, she showed interest in voice performance. She started attending lessons with mezzo-soprano Claire Massa and for the past ten years, she had been greatly involved in the musical scene, not only as a soloist but also as choir director. Marouska Attard’s portfolio includes master classes in voice performance with various distinguished singers namely Profs Jerzy Artysz (Krakow Music Academy), Robert Tier and Teresa Cahill (Lake District International Summer School of Music) and Yvonne Kenny (Guildhall Music and Drama School).
This concert will be held in the Renaissance Cloister of the Augustinian Convent. She will perform various arias from Operas by Handel, Mozart and Pergolesi. She will be accompanied by the well-known pianist Sofia Narmania. The concert starts at 9pm.
Everyone is warmly invited to attend and the entrance is free.
