Police said that a 60-year old woman from Zebbug, Gozo, was seriously injured after her car hit two parked cars.

The accident happened at around 8pm on Saturday, in Triq tal-Plejju, Zebbug, when the woman, who was driving a Toyota Yasso, was driving into the entrance to a block of garages, when for some reason the car reversed and hit two parked cars.

She was assisted on site by a medical team before being taken to the Gozo General Hospital for further treatment.

Police investigations are ongoing.
