Heritage Malta is organising a children’s day at the National Museum of Natural History at Mdina this Saturday, the 15th of May, to celebrate International Council of Musems Day.

The activity which is being coordinated by Heritage Malta’s education unit will include plaster cast painting, face painting, interactive games and sheet colouring. Participants will be given an introductory presentation about the museum. Guided tours of the museum will be held at 10.30hrs and 14.00hrs.

Children between the ages of six and twelve are encouraged to visit the museum and participate in these hands-on activities in the museum’s open air courtyard to become more aware of Malta’s natural heritage.

The activity starts at 9.30am and finishes at 1.00pm. The fee to take part in the event is €1. All adult visitors to the museum on Saturday will be paying €2.
