Xaghra Local Council in collaboration with the Gozo Cultural Committee, will be holding a commemoration ceremony for the victims of the 7th of June, 1919, Riots, to be held on Friday, the 4th of June 2010.
One of victims of the riot was Guzeppi Bajada, who hailed from Xaghra.
The Commemoration ceremony will commence at 9.45am and will take place at Bullura Street in Xaghra.
