Vodafone has said that this summer it is doubling its top ups and slashing its international rates to 15c a minute for calls to various countries. Vodafone is also offering more phones on its pay monthly plans and reducing the price of its Internet key.

Vodafone Consumer Marketing Manager Daniel Grech said, “This summer, we will be giving all our customers even more value. All prepaid customers will get double the credit every time they top up and they can also get any one of our latest smartphones for free when signing up to a pay monthly plan. We are also reducing the rates to call the UK, Italy, Spain, Russia and Australia.”

“Our customers can also keep themselves updated on the World Cup by accessing YouTube, LiveScore and Facebook on their mobiles for just €1 for 3 days,” he added.

Vodafone have announced their summer offers as follows:

Double Your Top Up for Free

All Vodafone prepaid customers can double their top up for free when topping up with €10, €20 or €50. To sign up to this offer, customers need to send a free SMS to 16200 with the word ‘TOPUP’ and then top up their credit. With every top up made, Vodafone will give free extra credit on calls and SMS to all other Vodafone customers. If unused, the free credit will expire within 30 days. This offer is available between June 4 and August 31.

Customers topping up through the Vodafone website get even more. In fact, Vodafone has launched a new top-up voucher, exclusive to the online customers and giving much more than double the top-up amount in credit.

My Country

Vodafone prepaid customers can get a great mobile call rate of just 15c per minute to the UK, Italy, Spain, Russia and Australia. In order to benefit from this offer, customers need to send an SMS to 16200 with the name of the country written in it and then top up their account with either €10, €20 or €50. This special rate will be available for 30 days. The offer is available from June 6 to August 31. Once the 30 days are over, customers may repeat the procedure to benefit from this offer and, if they wish, can change the country before every top up until August 31.

Internet on your Mobile

Vodafone prepaid customers can now browse the Internet from their mobile for only €1 for 3 days. To benefit from the offer customers need to send an SMS to 16200 with the text ‘Bday’ if they have a Blackberry phone or ‘Lday’ for any other phone, including iPhones.

Vodafone Internet Key

The Vodafone Internet Key has been reduced from €59 to €49. In addition, when buying the Vodafone Internet Key, this summer you also get one month of free internet.
