Victoria Day was commemorated last Thursday, the 10th of June.
The official event was organised by the Victoria Local Council and held in Independence Square, Victoria.
The Gaulitanus Choir, Sassofoni Saxophone Quartet and the Chorus Urbanus all participated in the event. Poems were read by Joe Camilleri and Carmel Cachia.
The Gieh il-Belt Victoria was awarded to the Victoria Scout Group, by Victoria Mayor, Dr Samuel Azzopardi.
Comperes on the evening were Paul Sultana and Ylenia Caruana.
