Gozo will again be represented at the Malta International Trade Fair which opened to the public on Wednesday and closes on Friday, the 2nd of July.

The theme chosen for this year’s Pavilion is one to encourage the Maltese to choose Gozo as their holiday retreat. Where they can relax and enjoy discovering the beauty of the Gozitan countryside, as well as the lovely beaches and good hotels and restaurants. There will be a calendar available of the events taking place through the summer, as well as information on places to visit on the island.

In times of economic uncertainty in the rest of the world, the Ministry for Gozo felt the Pavilion provided the ideal opportunity to send a message out to the thousands of Maltese visiting the stand, that choosing Gozo as a holiday would be a unique experience, as well as costing less than a holiday abroad. This is because Maltese families can cross over the channel in 25 minutes using the Gozo Channel ships, taking the car with them and take advantage of various reduced price ticket schemes.

This year, the competition at the Pavilion will be unique to Maltese citizens who will be invited to participate for the chance to win tickets to be able to cross free on the ferry to Gozo.

The Ministry for Gozo has also resumed its assistance to those Gozitan enterprises that wish to exhibit their products and services at the International Trade Fair in Ta ‘Qali.
