Information sessions on tree and plant diseases for farmers

The Projects and Development Department within the Ministry for Gozo, in collaboration with the Institute for Environmental Methods at the University of Malta are organising a series of six information sessions about diseases that affect trees and plants.

Information about the symptoms of these diseases and methods of cure will be given, which will make the meetings of particular interest to local farmers as well as the public. The meetings will be held through PowerPoint presentations.

The audience will be given the opportunity to ask for advice or and put their questions forward.

The information sessions will be held at the Government Farm in Xewkija and commence on Monday, the 12th of July at 7.30pm. Three sessions per week will be held.

The evenings will be free of charge and a certificate of attendance will be issued at the end of this short course. It is recommended that those who are interested to attend contact the Farm on 21 552818.
