Wirt Ghawdex in conjunction with the Ministry for Gozo would like to invite the general public to a book launch of Prof. Horatio C.R. Vella’s latest book – ‘The Earliest Church Register in Gozo – 1554 – 1628’
The author chose Gozo to launch this book since it is a transcription and a study of the register housed at the Gozo Bishop’s Curia.
A panel of three (Prof. Stanley Fiorini, Rev. Dr. Joseph Bezzina & Mr. George F. Vella) will introduce the book. The author will be available after the lecture to sign copies of his book.
The book launch will be in English and attendance is free. It will be held at the Conference Hall of the Ministry for Gozo, St. Francis Square, Victoria, on Friday, July the 23, 2010, at 7.00pm.
Wirt Ghawdex, is the Gozo Boat (tal- latini), being restored at Mgarr, ready please?
