GO tv has announced that this weekend, all their tv customers have the opportunity to enjoy all the sporting action on GO sports for free, as part of a free open viewing period. Starting from Friday 6 to Monday 9 August, all GO tv customers can watch for free all the sports available on GO sports, including the kick off of the English football season – the Community Shield match between Chelsea and Manchester United which is live and exclusive on GO sports 1 (channel 851). The match will be shown on Sunday 8 August at 4pm.

The company said that GO tv viewers can enjoy also the recently-acquired content of Juventus Channel, Inter Channel and Roma Channel. Milan Channel will be available soon. In addition, customers can watch also the club channels of Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Currently, football lovers who subscribe to GO sports have the unique chance of participating in a competition and win two match tickets of their choice – either the Barclays Premier League or Italian Serie A for season 2010/11. Besides the football match tickets, the prize covers free airline tickets, including taxes and fuel charges, for two persons and free accomodation – also for two – with a maximum of two-night stays, GO tv said.

The competition is open to both new and existing customers who subscribe to the GO sports Premium monthly and/or yearly package before the 31 August 2010.
