Santa Marija Feast Gozo

The national festivity of Santa Marija came to a climax in Gozo recently. Bishop Mario Grech led a pontifical mass at the Cathedral on Sunday, August the 15th.

The congregation was led by H.E. George Abela, President of Malta.

Also present were Giovanna Debono, Minister for Gozo, Dr Chris Said, Parliamentary Secretary; M.P’s Frederik Azzopardi, Justin Caruana and Anton Refalo and Dr Samuel Azzopardi, Mayor of Victoria. They were all later invited for a reception by the Cathedral Chapter, where H.E. George Abela signed the VIP visitor’s book.
