Piggy Banks related to the BOV L-Istrina Piggy Bank Campaign are being distributed in all schools as well as selected retail outlets. A group of L-Istrina Volunteers and Bank of Valletta Staff members are assisting the Armed Forces of Malta in ensuring that all schools receive a piggy bank for each class.

Girl Guides and Istrina volunteers have been preparing over 5,000 piggy banks for distribution over a number of weeks. This will give 70,000 students the opportunity to participate and make a donation towards L-Istrina 2010.

The BOV Piggy Bank Campaign, now in its seventh consecutive edition, has become an integral part of the L-Istrina Experience. The total amount, together with a donation by Bank of Valletta will be presented during the Live TV Broadcast of L-Istrina on the 26th of December 2010.
